Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band – Rogers Centre, Toronto, ON.  Friday, August 24, 2012 @ 7:30pm. Tickets go on sale Friday May 4 @ 10am.

I saw Bruce years ago (actually I only went because my mom wanted to see him) and he has remained one of the top 3 concerts I’ve been to.  I have yet to see a concert where there was no opening act…..Bruce came on the stage at 8pm and didn’t get off until midnight – unheard of!!!!

Yup, I’m jealous of those with tickets as I’m one of the few who have yet to see her…and maybe never will (boohoo).  Oh well, life goes on.  I guess if I’m desperate at any point, I can always watch a live video on YouTube.  :-)

Well isn’t this a great idea – something that shouldn’t be necessary if we all cleaned up after ourselves, but none the less we need it.

I’m not sure where Rob Ford will be, as the entire idea is to get out and clean up your surrounding area….but maybe he pops up when you least expect it.

Regardless, April 20 is considered the Corporate & School Clean Up Day, where students and office workers venture outside and clean up the neighbouring grounds around the schools and workplaces.

April 21 is the Mayor’s Community Clean-Up Day where you join your friends and neighbours to clean up laneways, streets or parks.

Remember to get your garbage out by 2pm on Sunday (I’m assuming for pick-up??)

Visit your nearest Pizza Pizza or Toronto community/civic centers to pick up GLAD garbage bags, and either visit www.toronto.ca/litter or call 311 to register for the event before April 18th (end of day today).  This allows the cvity to arrange to pick up the garbage.

As an extra bonus, call 311 if you see graffiti vandalism that needs to be cleaned up.
